Background

Over 20 years, Karina Janning held leadership and influencer positions in global corporations, international mid-size companies and management consultancies, 10 years of them in the United States. 

Her practical experience spans areas such as assessments, design & facilitation of leadership and cultural change initiatives, sparring and coaching of top executives, and implementation of innovative HR solutions for the modern world of work. She enjoys working for RETURN ON MEANING since 2020.

Karina graduated at University of Trier as an occupational psychologist with main subject in stress research. She is a trained Co-active © coach and leader, Scrum master and design thinking professional. Karina continued her professional development with certificates in systems thinking (MIT), organizational design,  group dynamic, and many well-known assessment instruments such as OPQ© , MBTI©, ESCI©, or Leadership Circle©. 

Her current interests lies in ambidexterity, integral approaches and customer centricity. Karinas recent motto is „To laugh often and love much“ (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

  • Design, implementation and management of corporate learning strategies (leadership & sales academies, knowledge management systems, targeted programs to build organizational capabilities such as „leader as coach“, „mindfulness“ or „story telling“).

  • Change management support for digital transformation initiatives (e.g. implementation of Workday, SAP, IT outsourcing initiatives), partly by applying agile OE and design thinking methods.

  • Implementation of new commercial/ go-to-market strategies (e.g. build key account management, align global field marketing approaches) incl. organization design, change management, design of qualification strategies for B2B organizations.

  • Design & facilitation of global strategy review meetings aimed at potential obstacles removal, annual operation plan alignment and employee engagement, e.g. with deep dives into trust building and valuing diversity exercises.
