Background

For 18 years, Katharina Schrecklinger held commercial leadership roles in global pharma corporations, at local, regional and global level out of Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. In her last role before joining RETURN ON MEANING as a freelance consultant in 2022, Katharina served as a Global Vice President Marketing for the  Mental Health portfolio. Before her time in the pharma industry, Katharina worked as a strategy consultant serving clients from various industries such as Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Consumer Health, Food, and Powertools. 

Her experience combines business strategy, business transformation, training, and growing individuals and successful teams. 

Katharina holds a Master-equivalent Diploma in Business Administration from The University of Applied Sciences in Göttingen. She is currently becoming a certified Executive Coach (Integrated Coaching Approach) at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. 

With her company StrategyStories, Katharina is enabling teams to develop clear strategies and thus empowering them for effective implementation.

Client experience (selected examples)

  • Design, implementation and management of a large cooperation’s first Global Marketing Excellence Program (thought leadership, marketing training, process design, stakeholder and change management) around the globe and at all levels of the organization (> 1.500 marketers)

  • Collaborative business process design and complementary change management in a newly created regional business center, overseeing eight European mid-size countries

  • Design and facilitation of business strategy development (Where to Play & How to Win) for an entire business portfolio and through the cross-functional value chain until Top Team sign off (management of complex content, mediation and inclusion of various points of views, enabling team to take critical decisions, enabling team to sustainable ownership)

  • Design, facilitation and implementation of compliance and leadership culture change programs (top team alignment, inclusive development process, sustainable action planning and implementation)
