Results of the world's largest mindfulness study in a tech company

Together, RETURN ON MEANING and Professor of Business Psychology Hannah Möltner, a renowned expert in the field of mindfulness, conducted a study on mindfulness in an international tech company. In the process, the impact of our mindfulness program MOMENTUM by Return on Meaning was evaluated. In particular, the MOMENTUM app leads to positive effects with sustainable changes in the work context. The most important results at a glance:

  • Leadership: mindfulness significantly increases job-specific self-efficacy. It also increases work engagement, which is positively associated with enjoyment during work.

  • Health: mindfulness is associated with an increase in well-being and a decrease in emotional exhaustion.

  • Self-leadership: the mindfulness trainings and app train serenity, which is the ability to hold on and find the "pause button" internally before reacting. This is associated with less anger and reduced conflict in interactions.
