Background

Sören Kluge is an organizational psychologist and has been a trainer and consultant at RETURN ON MEANING since 2020. His focus areas include leadership development, culture transformation projects, and the optimization of talent management processes. He is currently completing a certification program to become a systemic business coach.

From 2017 to 2020, he worked in the HR department of a logistics consulting firm with more than 600 employees, with a particular focus on talent acquisition. Alongside his studies, he was involved in the student consulting organization BCPro and subsequently deepened his expertise at HRpepper in the areas of transformation, design thinking, and change management.

He studied psychology with a specialization in work, organizational, and business psychology at Freie Universität Berlin and the University of California, San Diego (PROMOS scholarship). Prior to his academic career, he worked in graphic design, event management, and public administration.

In addition to his professional work, Sören volunteered for several years with Amnesty International and supported a project focused on analyzing and reducing unconscious bias in children.

  • Led and contributed to multiple culture transformation projects, including in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, involving ambassador networks and additional change initiatives over multi-year periods

  • Supported transformation projects with a focus on sustainability, empowerment, and agile ways of working

  • Developed top leadership teams, including diagnosis, program design, and facilitation of multi-day offsites

  • Designed and facilitated workshops with (senior) leadership teams and employees on topics such as collaboration, conflict, values, strategy development, feedback, and communication

  • Designed and delivered training programs as well as standalone trainings—both in-person and remote—on topics such as Lead Self, Lead Others, effective presenting, audience-focused communication, feedback, and structured problem solving

  • Supported the analysis and restructuring of talent management processes and the optimization of HR processes, including the development of a diagnostic tool to assess the maturity of a People & Culture function

  • Designed, delivered, and further developed assessment and development centers for talent diagnostics
