Background

Christoph Holzhaider started his career in 2010 as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. As a consultant he focused on projects in health care, the non profit sector and on recruiting. He then moved on to work with Ashoka, an international network of social entrepreneurs. For Ashoka he consulted with social entrepreneurs and focused on how to scale their work and expand their geographic footprint. Between 2014 and 2018 Christoph worked for Bayer AG in different roles in Global Marketing, including Assistant to Chief Marketing Officer Bayer Pharma, Global Brand Managers in Therapeutic Area ”Women’s Health” as well as Change Agent for various digital and non digital transformation processes. 

Christoph studied International Business Administration at the University of Economics in Vienna as well as Japanese Studies at the University of Vienna and the University of Osaka in Japan. He speaks English, Spanish and Japanese fluently and has a basic command of Chinese and French. 

Christoph regularly joins pro bono projects for non profit organisations where he acts as a consultant for topics including scaling, development of marketing materials and strategies, business plan development, etc.

  • Project lead for several change management projects in the pharmaceutical industry including projects related to compliance and collaboration between country & global functions.

  • Change management support for digitalization of marketing and medical material development (incl. agency support, internal review process, translation, distribution to markets) for a pharmaceutical company.

  • Change management support to introduce Customer Journey as a tool into global marketing organisation of pharmaceutical company.

  • Development and management of innovative recruiting concepts for McKinsey & Company, e.g., consulting projects for social entrepreneurs with university students.

  • Development and execution of presentation, communication and feedback trainings.

  • Setup of non profit organisation in Austria supporting the facilitation of student loans through private individuals who also act as mentors.
